A beautiful, classic look and these move through the turf with ease. I got a medium trajectory with a predictable draw but couldn't seem to work it the other way. Distance varied depending on face contact but center hits jumped hard.

These are something I'd buy. They had great distance and the most consistent ball flight. It was really nice with that chrome look and the matted finish on the face. It was a pure forged feel. Mis-hits were a little bit unforgiving, but that's all on me.

I got a penetrating flight and a high-pitched sound off the face. A bit of cushion in there. The face seemed hot. It wasn't crazy long, but the ball got out there in a hurry.

There's a very beautiful look at address, masking all of the performance enhancements on the club. The sound is on the deeper side, with a very satisfying thump at impact. These clubs were terrific on well-struck shots. My poorly struck shots were severely punished. I feel like a club in this category could stand to be a little bit more forgiving.

Very consistent. Mis-hits go as far as solid shots and there's a tight dispersion. The club doesn't feel like it spins at all on toe strikes. It makes a higher-pitched sound and makes the ball feel lighter when its struck well.

I'm going to call this the "Don't-hold-back club." You can bring everything and more. You just step in and rip it. You can play these irons like you play a driver. A lot has to do with sole design and how it interacts with the turf. If you're afraid to dig divots, please get this club. It will help you get a better divot pattern and help you hit it hard and long.

There is subtle technology on the back of the club. The sole design is beveled, which seems to give you the ability to hit low and high shots easily. The ball was soft off the face but still gave adequate audio. I like how the shaved heel prevents the club from digging.

The best thing is that club to club, the only thing that looks different is the loft. The head feels well balanced and not too heavy. It has slight offset, but you can work it both ways and have some forgiveness on the mis-hits. Very high launch and long distance. If someone demands a 5-iron in the bag instead of a hybrid, this is the set.

I did like the clean look. They are less organic than a players iron with straighter lines. The feel was a little stiffer than I like, but turf interaction was good and I got good distance on center hits.

I like the aggressive profile and the sharpness of the toe angles on the back. I wasn't afraid to go down and get it in the turf. More of a firm click kind of impact and the result was good distance. It had some workability, too. I could flight the ball but always got consistent distances.

All the facets make it look like a diamond, like a players club with a bit more beef. Based on its looks, it felt like it should be more forgiving, although I felt decent heft through the ball. The lighter shaft also gave me a sense of impact and weight transfer.

They've got a bunch of these different grinds on the sole and they feel like each of them dig through the dirt in specific ways. It's like a ship with different sails and they each have a different purpose. The best word for these is reliable. You'll hit your number with this club a lot. You might let the club down, but the club won't let you down.

It has a traditional look with a medium topline. It's easy to set up and know what the club will do. Looks more like a player-ish iron and I didn't get much different functionality being in the distance category. That said, it had good turf interaction and positive feel. Acoustics are pleasant with a lower sound without a click. A better player could put this club in the bag and play with it this afternoon—just don't expect a ton of distance.

Very consistent and forgiving. Thin mis-hits were still carrying within a very tight band of squared-up shots. It gave me a slightly lower, penetrating ball flight and was springy off the face. That "V" dynamic on the sole got the club into the ground and then accelerating out of the ground

This provided great all-around performance. Pretty, high, straight shots. It was just above-average distance but good consistency, even on mis-hits. Angles in the cavity remind me too much of the Tesla truck. At address, it's a confidence-inspiring face—it looks a bit larger. It just looks like a helpful extra bit of surface to make contact with the ball.

Nothing surprises me anymore, but these very much impressed me. It’s a very heavy hit, so what feels like not a ton of effort produces a very soaring ball. And it drops so nicely. It’s a great transitional-iron look. You’ve gotten to the point where you’re ready to use a players iron but need that extra performance. This is the club. And it’s not intimidating.

The bottom has a kind of pyramid look to it on the bounce. It means that with the turf interaction, you're getting a little more catchy, diggy feel. If you want some style in terms of how it looks, it looks angled like a Transformer. It's like a cool modern car. The performance was high and hot. These carry way past my stock.

Really like the sole of the club and the bevel. It keeps the club from digging in. You might lose a little bit of distance, but it's not the end of your round if you hit one fat. It produces a nice click with good distance and good feel. You know when you hit it well off the clubface.

You can't really see any of the back of the club looking over it, which inspires confidence. There was a muted sound, thin no matter where you hit it. It's super firm. Even when I felt like I flushed it, I had no idea if it was compressed or not. But they are pretty accurate.

I like the different angles—everything's cohesive. The face looks like it has a ton of hitting area and the ball is very soft off it. Feels like you can control it. You have time to turn it over. I love the sound—it's like a low, smacking sound—like a heavy box falling onto a hardwood floor.

I don't like how shiny the ends of the face are. Everything else is perfect. Feels so smooth but powerful at impact. You can compress the ball and get a desirable result with ease. The ball flies powerfully through the air and you're always in control of it. These clubs also consistently reward good shots in distance.

I like the topline, it's the perfect width. It has a lush feel off the face. Feels nicer toward the center, but never too harsh, even off-center strikes. I got a nice mid-to-higher ball flight that should hold greens. And she's very long. They should create a new category for it: Players-Super-Distance Irons!

It felt amazing and really fun to hit. First reaction: Wow. Hot off the face and the ball soared. I got a penetrating ball flight. Also, it was very forgiving and felt like I couldn't miss. When I got to the 5-iron, even the squirrely shots got high in the air.
